Isuzu "Truck that anyone can ride" new "Elf Mio" released AT limited and can be driven with a regular license

Isuzu announced on July 24 that it will release the only small diesel truck in Japan that can be driven with an automatic transmission (AT) limited to a regular driver's license (ordinary license) from July 30 (Tuesday). The price starts at 3,655,000 yen (excluding tax).

The Elf Mio is equipped with a 1.9-liter diesel engine "RZ4E" as a powertrain with excellent fuel efficiency. By installing a lightweight engine, it ensures a high load capacity of 1.35 tons. In addition, the system has thoroughly pursued fuel efficiency and achieved a class-leading 13.6 Km/L (JC08 mode), achieving the fuel efficiency standard for medium-duty vehicles. It has a maximum output of 88 kW and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, and is combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission to achieve powerful and smooth driving.

In addition to ensuring a spacious and comfortable living space, the cabin achieves excellent boarding and disembarkation with wide door openings. In addition, in order to achieve the optimal driving position, the design was pursued by adopting a small-diameter steering wheel and subdividing the seat slide pitch to make it easy to drive.

The advanced grade "SE Custom" is equipped with armrests, heated seats, seats with lumbar support, and an electric parking brake. In addition to single and double cab variations, Isuzu's own space cab is set that expands the interior space behind the seat.

In addition to the standard "Arc White" body color, there are a variety of color variations to meet the needs of drivers, such as "Pale Blue" and "Dark Khaki Metallic (set as SE Custom)" exclusively for Elf Mio.
